Wow how cool to find you on the web~
I am a peace activist in Santa Barbara and I am pleased to see organized
peace groups/action in the SJ Valley
I work with high schools in our county and Ventura count and we are
organizing to work on a CAMS style approach, Coalition Against Militarism in
the Schools, spread through SO CAL
They also have an LAUSD project, where we have community connectors working
with 35 to 40 of the schools.
As an associate and a member of Veterans For Peace, we have a very visible
project at the beach called Arlington West which we set up every Sunday,
with a cross and the name/info on all fallen US soldiers from the Iraq war
www.fpsb.org
Daunting and valuable project
Must say I have seen four crosses of people my sister has known personally
in the Valley
She lives in Fresno/Clovis

I am glad you people were not around on 6/6/1944! I find your remarks in contempt. If we leave Iraqi now we give away our freedom. As the General said in New Orleans the other day. "Your stuck on stupid". I am ex paratrooper and I support the troops and the reason they are fighting over there just as in Europe. thank you, gc baker, fl.

If the woman across the street was being beaten and
abused by her husband, would you sit in your cozy home
and look the other way? Sometimes action needs to be
taken for the betterment of the community or in this
case the world.

Outside of the US, and Europe, people all over the world are KILLED for REGISTERING to vote. People in other parts of the world DIE at the ballot box, or on their way their because other people don't want them to vote. We owe it to them and their families to make our voices heard!
Apparently the lines of BRAVE Iraquis voting for their countries newfound freedom was lost on you people. Not to mention ignoring the terrorist nation Iraq will become if we becme complacent as you people like so much to do! Keep sitting on your hands...while others work to protect this nation.

Should go home!!!
She does not speak for most Americans, and we are sick of looking at her and her attacks on our country and President!!
